About Us

When Rebound Physical Therapy opened in 1994, founder Paul Silovsky’s plan was to become a regional leader in sports physical therapy and that quickly happened.  Paul also realized after treating hundreds of athletes that more could and needed to be done to help these athletes prevent future injuries.

The idea of “Rebound Sports Performance” was born.  Not only could Rebound help prevent injuries but performance could be improved as well.  Athletes recovering from injury started getting detailed return to play programs and groups of healthy athletes began popping up in local grade school gyms for training sessions.  The Topeka Thunder Soccer Club became the developing ground for the FAST Program and the FAST Camp was developed and delivered at multiple high schools across northeast Kansas.

It all came together formally in 2001 with dedicated staff and a 5800 sq. ft. facility.  Mike Flynn joined Rebound as Director of Sports Performance and quickly expanded his staff as additional programs grew.

Since 1994 Rebound has worked with thousands of athletes within our community and NE Kansas to restore and or enhance their active and healthy lifestyles.

Our Philosophy

Our goal is to identify and correct physical and mechanical limitations that prevent peak athletic performance. Our philosophy is simple: by getting back to the basics, we lay the foundation for developing and training the complete athlete.  We help you achieve your goals through our personalized and systematic approach.

Our team of professionals will develop a customized training program for you, your athlete or team. The program will maximize athletic ability and performance, while helping prevent injury. Rebound Sports Performance bridges the gap between current training programs and the high-level skill required to perform in competitive and recreational sport.
